I’m no warbler, but this haunting eternal love song by Ellie Goulding (from the motion picture, About Time), has become Country Bebe’s night-time lullaby. He is instantly captivated. Even when I sing. Every night we curl up in bed, read books and then he says ‘sing, mama’ and I dutifully massacre this beautiful tune:
Every night my voice gets stuck on the lyrics: ‘how long will I love you? As long as there are stars above you, and longer if I can’.
What I didn’t know was that it is a cover of an original track by The Waterboys.
