After last night’s X Factor performance of his new single, Go Gentle, I can safely say my love for Mr. Robbie Williams is LIMITLESS. It has been a 20+ year love affair (okay, one sided love affair and yes, even through the bloated druggy years).
At the tender age of 10, as Take That exploded onto the bedroom walls of half of the UK, I felt it quite justified in pretending that Robbie was my older brother. We shared the same surname, it was BULLET PROOF. Approximately 3 people believed me for a week, until they discovered I had emblazoned ‘I LOVE RW FOREVER’ on my jotter, which took some explaining to dig myself out of that ‘incest’ hole.
Ever since I have ditched the older brother story and stuck firmly to the ‘I just want to be his wife’ line. And I do. God I do. It’s the tattoos. The sparkly grey green eyes. The voice when he sings Big Band. Even the new silver fox quiff. Yes, I am a grown, married, 30 year old woman but I am still a 10 year old inside – writing ‘I LOVE RW FOREVER’ on my blog now, instead of my jotter.
Oh, and when he mouths ‘I love you, Teddy’ at the close of the video? *FAINTS*
