Snapshot: the nursery

I have done a series of posts on snapshots from around our new home. As little corners emerge I thought I’d share them with you; my style finds in context.

Next up – the nursery.

Built in the 60s our new home is a conventional layout for family life. A big open-plan ground floor living space and upstairs, a master bedroom with a box room right next door. In a previous life this would have made a perfect dressing room but now it is home to Country Bebe.

Lastly, let me introduce CB’s cot companions.

His monogrammed ‘M’ for Mansi cushion courtesy of my mummy; Rabbit – the OH’s childhood toy (he never was very imaginative with names); Thread Bear – my cherished childhood bear (he is only on loan) and CB’s own teddy – Carmine. In the mornings we hear him shuffle up his cot, grab one and start babbling away to them.

I love that it’s a mix of old, new, homemade and handmade. I’d quite like to move in myself.
